The Schweizerhof Country Inn was founded in 1964 by Mr. Ludwig Kain.
The name Schweizerhof is derived from a former Swiss dairy (cheese factory). After the death of our founder and owner in 1998, his daughter Ruth Kain and the current owner, Hans Kain, took over the Schweizerhof.
However, due to family and health reasons, we had to close around the turn of the millennium. For four years, our country inn operated only as a guesthouse; the public restaurant was closed.
But after our successful reopening in 2004, we are now open again! We all look forward to making your visit as pleasant as possible.
The traditional country inn "Schweizerhof" offers spacious dining rooms and a swimming pool with loungers, perfect for relaxation.
